CONTRACT MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS:

Batterers Intervention Group Facilitators
DOVES is looking for a male and a female facilitator to co-facilitate court-mandated batterer intervention group in Polson, Montana. Intakes and psychoeducational weekly groups aim to motivate changes in the goals and beliefs which underlie the use of violent and abusive behavior and assist men in utilizing existing skills and acquiring new skills to become more respectful partners and nurturing fathers. Flexible, open-minded, compassionate, demanding and resourceful; positive attitude and belief in individual’s capacity to change; sense of humor; prior experience working in field of domestic violence and/or with offenders preferred, especially clinical experience using motivational interviewing skills; understanding of gender role socialization and a passion for helping people to think critically and challenge their own learning about these issues; ability to work collaboratively in team approach and ability to perform individual job duties with limited supervision, yet maintain a close working relationship with co-facilitator and supervisor; excellent interpersonal skills. Prefer LCPC or LCSW; license-eligible graduates are welcome to apply. Reports to the Batterers Intervention Group Supervisor and Executive Director.  Paid on a per session basis; compensation DOE.
